Instructions
Christmas Pinecone Centerpiece
- 1
Collect some pine branches and twigs as well as some pine cones from your back yard or local park.
2Lay your collected materials on a few sheets of newspaper; you might want to do this outside. Spray the pine cones with white spray paint so that they look like they are covered in snow. Spray the pine branches and twigs with any Christmas color spray paint. Set aside to dry.
3Flip a cardboard plate upside down. Don't use a simple paper plate; it won't be sturdy enough to hold the decorations.
4Affix a glass candle holder to the center of the cardboard plate with a hot glue gun. Insert a candle in the center of the candle holder. Choose a Christmas candle that matches the color you spray painted your pine branches.
5Glue the pine cones around the edge of the cardboard plate, and put the pine branches in between the pine cones and the candle holder. Use a hot glue gun; regular craft glue isn't strong enough.
Christmas Potpourri Centerpiece
- 6
Glue a large pillar candle to the center of a medium-size glass bowl with a hot glue gun. The candle should be a Christmas color.
7Spread potpourri around the candle. Choose potpourri that is mostly red in color.
8Lay a few holly leaves over the top of the potpourri to add some Christmas green.
9Spray a little glitter around the part of the candle that sticks out above the potpourri. You can use white glitter to give the appearance of snow.
