Table Rock Lake Activities

Table Rock Lake is a popular tourist attraction; located at the base of the Ozark Mountains and close to Branson, Missouri and Silver Dollar City theme park. Table Rock State Park is situated on the east side of the lake and there is a range of accommodations in the area, from hotels and lodgings to campsites. The lake has over 800 miles of shoreline and offers outdoor activities such as fishing, boating and hiking.

Fishing

You can fish all year round at Table Rock Lake and there are lots of bait shops in Kimberling City and the surrounding area for supplies and permits. A variety of different fish species can be caught at the lake, including black crappie, green sun fish, large mouth bass, flat head catfish and white bass, making the fishing a challenge for novice or experienced anglers. A number of professional fishing guides are available to advise on bait, lures and places to fish, if required.

State Park Marina

The Table Rock State Park Marina is located inside Table Rock State Park, just off Highway 165, and offers a range of boating activities, together with a nautical store and barbecue restaurant. The marina offers boat hire, waverunners, parasailing, fishing and scuba diving, together with daily cruises on the Spirit of America catamaran. Boat rentals include ski boats, deck boats, luxury pontoon and bass boats. Boats can be rented all day or for periods of two hours, four hours or eight hours. White River Landing

White River Landing is home to the Showboat Branson Belle and features specialty shops. Layton Mercantile is an old-fashioned store, offering ladies' clothing and jewelry alongside home decor and artwork, treats, specialty coffees and foods. The Showboat Branson Belle is a paddle steamer operating two-hour entertainment cruises featuring a three-course meal, prepared on board. Entertainment can include such acts as an aerial violinist, comedians or an all-male vocal group. The Branson Belle offers a glimpse back in history to a time when showboats were a common feature of America's waterways.

Golf

There are a number of golf courses around Table Rock Lake.

The area surrounding Table Rock Lake features eight golf courses, including the Stonebridge Resort, Murder Rock Golf Club and the Top of the Rock club. Many of the courses overlook the Ozarks mountain range and feature spectacular views. Some courses, such as the Stonebridge Resort, have accommodations, restaurants and leisure facilities on site and also offer coaching.
